I built the database structures and then the Power BI reporting on top of them. This was the first time I saw analytics change how a week actually felt for the people doing the work, rather than just producing a nicer chart. That stuck with me.

I also ran a cost-benefit analysis on the final approach, which is where I learned that the statistically best answer and the answer a business will actually adopt are frequently not the same answer. Getting people to use the thing is part of the job, not somebody else's problem.
